chocolocs: I never realized how much you feel about your locks until I read your blog. I take my hat off to you and all others who are so passionate about their lockness (my coinage), their blackness, and yes their freedom to express themselves! Way to go. PS Is there a male version of sister locks?
I think it is great that you are chronicling your sister locks journey! It was well worth the read and inspirational to me. Dionne, was blown away as well. Yes, Dionne is actually interested in following Auntie 'Rise's example!

Your hair is fab and I think we may have the same hair type. I have a good friend in Mt. Pleasant that is really starting to get curious. I think Detroit is her best bet for a consult.
